I, Dawkins (or not)

I found this rather clever invention on the Philosophy of Dawkins at Wry Mouth's blog.

Since I work(ed) with hypercomplex numbers (quaternions) I suspect Dawkins would have the same argument about my other "holy" trinity.

You are kind. The final draft of my Dawkins screed is, to me, about 90% satisfactory. But I can only waste so much time working up the bile needed to respond in kind to such cutting and irrational attacks on theism as Dawkins' are.

And then, I go back to just ignoring such pap, which is probably a far better non-reaction!

In tracing a referral back to your blog (which I'd visited in the past, but had wandered away from) I found your latest musings on the Church of England and the British Government; a "good read," although I don't want to imply that in a cheerful way. Thought-provoking, though, and well-said, and the position(s) on morality that some of the larger and more "traditional" strains of Christianity is troubling to me (I am of Eastern Orthodox and Roman Catholic extraction, without any of the hysterics that sadly accompany some who break from those faiths. Indeed, my parents are deacons in the local parish).

My parents off-handedly mentioned to me that they'd taken over teaching the CCD classes again, because the gentleman who had taken over the classes for them had a "partner" who was seriously ill.

I'm afraid I *did* look at them askance.
